If ex-President Jimmy Carter had defeated the then ex-Governor of California, Ronald Reagon, I don't see how in the hell we could have been any worse off than we are today.  At least I know that he was sincere and wanted the people to govern, by wanting a twenty-four hour voter registration sign-up for everyone.  Interest rates would have come down under his tenure, as well as anyone else's tenure.  I think he would have tried to look after the poor and needy much better than is now being done.  I know that President Reagon says he came from the Great Depression era, but I doubt if he had to live on the street or in a car, not have access to a catalog to wipe his ass, and not have enough money to buy food to eat or was into 'dumpster diving'.

HEAP has run out of money and Congress is debating whether to re-fund it.  If it isn't funded, how will I keep warm, since it is still freezing here.  I know how to live without a big refrigerator/freezer since Reagon took office, but I have never had to warm foods on a cold stove, nor had to go to the laundromat without any money to wash my clothes.  I don't think I would take many cold baths, probably none.  If my water is ever shut off, I guess I will have to go to the bathroom in my yard and show my ass.  I'll become the flasher on the corner.  What the hell is wrong with Congress?

Mondale has won the Illinois delegates.
