My boss at Ruth's called before I left to go to work at Alma's. She asked if I would come in at 6PM instead of 7PM, when the new relief worker starts next week. Even though I will only have three hours off, instead of four hours a day, I gladly accepted. It's an extra $3.00 a day. six days a week, another $18.00 a week. My boss at Ruth's doesn't know I have another job. She told me she hired a woman, who had another job, and the employee didn't work out. I have to keep my private life private.

I stopped at a junk yard and got a lug nut and brake cover for my wheel rim for $1.00, before I went to work at Alma's. I spent $1.00 to have the lug nut and brake cover installed too.

At Larry and Alma's, I sealed and painted the living room ceiling, that had water stains on it again. I dusted the cobwebs from the ceilings, cooked their lunch and dinner, did all the dishes while chasing after Alma and trying to keep track of her.

I finished the trimwork at Mom's house by filling the countersunk holes, with wood putty, sanding and varnishing it. Someday, the lattice strips will get done - someday.

At my house I cut out a disintegrated part of my bathroom shower and tub wall, cut and fitted a new piece of drywall in place, and covered the edges with drywall cement and tape. I don't know how I do as much as I do in the four hours I have off, minus one-half traveling time. I wonder how I'm going to accomplish everything with only three hours off Monday through Friday, five hours off Saturday and five hours off Sunday, but it will add another $18,00 to my pay weekly, and I need the money.
