I stayed with Alma from 10AM until 12:45PM, and then took Ruth home from the hospital. Alma had to go to the doctors office at 2:30PM anyway,so, I wasn't needed at Alma's house.
I fixed the back storm door that had literally riped off the hinges and fallen apart on the ground. The glass inset was also shattered.
I cleaned out the kitchen cupboard underneath the sink.
I went to the grocers for food for the weekend, because I'll either be at Alma's or Ruth's house all weekend. I can eat with the family at Alma's, but I have to bring my own food at Ruth's, because her meals are already prepared. Greg said he would feed and water my dogs this weekend.
The landlord's wife at Ruth's apartment is crazy! When I got to Ruth's today, there were two cars in the driveway, where I usually park. I pulled up and parked behind the second car. I couldn't park in the street, because people get $5.00 parking tickets there. One of the cars belonged to the woman I was to relieve, but I didn't know who owned the other car. The landlord's wife came to Ruth's door and said that I would have to move my car. The woman that I was relieving said she was going to leave anyway, and I could have her parking space. All's well that ends well, right? Wrong! The landlords wife then calls my boss, tells her I have been drunk with a man, falling down in their yards at night and that Ruth is being neglected. I asked my boss if the landlord's wife was "crazy, or what"? My boss called the landlord's wife back and told her to call the police if there was any disturbance at Ruth's. There hasn't been a disturbance of any kind, since I've started working there, except Ruth with her nightly loud repetitions. People are nuts!
The doctor changed Ruth's medicine and she's now taking Mellaril, and two additional pills to stop her excessive flow of urine. She has a catheter too. Her blood vessel dilator medicine is still prescribed, as are her liquid vitamins and liquid iron.
Ruth expected her dead mother to visit her all afternoon and evening. She only took about one-half of her medicine in her yogurt at bedtime, and refused to take any pills. I think she swallowed the Mellaril.
I've only gotten one phone call about renting my sleeping room, and he wasn't interested.
