Ruth's hospital orders state that she should sit in a chair two times a day for two hours each time, that she needs bed side-rails, a walker, eyeglasses, and a catheter for urine. It says she can't write, is hard of hearing, confused, forgetful, alert, suspicious, senile, noisy, mentally impaired, audio impaired, bladder incontinent, needs assistance to turn or sit in bed, needs assistance with personal hygiene, is unable to dress, needs assistance with feeding, sitting, standing, in the tub, on the toilet, in the wheelchair, walking and climbing stairs and that she was perscribed a new medication, Mellaril.
Alma's husband and their daughters got in touch with Alma's doctor and he prescribed something to calm her down.
When I went to work tonight, I was told that Ruth's niece decided that Ruth shouldn't take the Mellaril. I wish Ruth's niece had to stay with Ruth or be one of Ruth's neighbors. If she had to stay with her, Ruth would be on a lot stronger medicine than Mellaril.
I went to see Felicia. I told her that I would try to put up the ceiling tile in the breezeway starting this Sunday. Sonny said he would put them up, but didn't. She told me Sonny committed himself to an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. She has their car and can drive back and forth to work.
Greg cooked on my stove, and naturally, didn't clean it. He has also dirtied the countertops, refrigerator, glass bar top and a glass coffee table. I cleaned the stove and countertops, but left a note for him to clean the other things.
Ruth was very repetitious. She repeated "Arlene, turn on the light and come in here" loudly. Her light was on, Arlene wasn't there, and she was asleep when she was chanting it. She has been extremely disoriented since her hospitalization, although she was extremely disoriented before the hospitalization most of the time.
